Pakistani mills further hike rebar quotes
Amid surging scrap offers, coupled with a dollar shortage-led drop in imported raw material procurement and local scrap dearth, Pakistani mills have hiked their quotes for rebar, Kallanish notes. This follows the previous hike of PKR 3,000/tonne done by major Pakistani steel mills on 15 December.
