Pakistan’s ISL sees production drop amid deteriorating demand
Pakistan’s International Steel Limited (ISL)’s cold rolled coil production dropped 11% on-year to 441,013 tonnes in the fiscal year ended 30 June 2022 (FY22). Galvanised sheet output plunged 24% to 213,200t; however, colour-coated steel rose 10% to 17,037t.
ISL’s FY22 sales totalled 424,000t, comprising 240,000t of galvanised steel and 184,000t of CRC, Kallanish notes.
