Peru’s iron ore output falls sequentially in July
Peruvian iron ore production fell month-on-month in July. Output, however, remained higher year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
Iron ore output reached 1.22 million tonnes in the month. This was down 6.9% versus June but up 6.7% compared with 1.15 million tonnes in July 2022, according to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report.
