Peru’s iron ore output grows in June
Peruvian iron ore production rose both month-on-month and year-on-year in June, Kallanish notes.
Iron ore output reached 1.31 million tonnes in the month. This was up 34.1% versus May and 13% more compared with 1.16 million tonnes in the corresponding month of 2022, according to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report. This volume was the highest since December, when output was 1.50mt.
