Peru’s iron ore output recovers in September
Peruvian iron ore production rose in September after a slight decline in the previous month. Output was also higher year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
Iron ore output reached 1.22 million tonnes in the month. This was up 2,911 tonnes, or 0.2%, versus August and higher by 25.2% compared with 982,042t in September 2022, according to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report.
