Philippine steel manufacturer switches to renewables
Philippine steel importer and manufacturer Puresteel, part of steel and property conglomerate Chioson Group, has signed contracts for renewable power as part of the group’s attempt to be carbon neutral by 2025. 600KW of renewable energy will be supplied to Puresteel’s plant in Cebu by FirstGen, Kallanish notes.
