Poland's JSW reduces earnings on-year, prices rise on-quarter

Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW) posted a 31% on-year decline in consolidated second-quarter revenue to PLN 4.14 billion ($959.8 million), while net profit plunged 67% to PLN 786.8m, Kallanish notes. Average Q2 coking coal sales price nevertheless rose 1% from Q1 to PLN 1,235/tonne ($286), while coke sales price rose 7% to PLN 1,699/t.
