Port Hedland iron ore exports soar in June
Monthly iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Australia’s Pilbara surged to over 40 million tonnes for the first time ever in June, according to statistics released by the Port Authority and monitored by Kallanish. The increase was driven by a jump in exports to China.
