Port Hedland ore shipments fall back in January

Australia’s Port Hedland saw iron ore exports to China tumble month-on-month in January, Kallanish notes. This meant that global shipments from the port were lower year-on-year. Cargoes to China from Port Hedland in January were 33,977,683 tonnes versus 41,402,234t in December or -17.9% lower.
