Posco, Roy Hill join forces for carbon neutrality
South Korean steel producer Posco says it will establish a cooperative system with Roy Hill for carbon emission reduction projects in mining and steelmaking, according to a memorandum of understanding signed online, Kallanish notes.
In addition to hydrogen production, renewable energy, carbon capture, utilisation and storage, the two companies agreed to conduct research and develop opportunities in hydrogen-based production of hot-briquetted iron.
