Post-holiday US sheet pricing remains relatively steady
US sheet pricing is reportedly stable-to-slightly-down following the Labor Day holiday, market sources tell Kallanish.
Kallanish held its assessment on Monday at $580-620/short ton for hot-rolled, while cold-rolled remained at $780-800/st. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
A source at one top-tier mill indicated that the upper end of that range has shrunk, largely due to a competitive marketplace.
