Primary, fabricated US metals shipments rise in July
Shipments of both primary and fabricated metal products rose in the US during July, Kallanish learns from data gathered by the US Census Bureau.
According to the US Census Bureau's monthly manufacturers' durable goods report, shipments of preliminary metals rose by 3.3% from the prior month to a value of $24 billion in July. New orders of primary metals rose by 2.7% in July.
