Italian flats and longs see first-quarter output hike
Italian flat products output increased year-on-year in March, according to data released by local steelmakers' association Federacciai, monitored by Kallanish. Flats output growth was negative throughout almost all of 2018.
In March, flats output increased by 8.9% y-o-y to 1 million tonnes. Over the first three months of the year output was stable compared to the same priod in 2017 at 2.8mt.
