Shutdowns, weak EU sentiment hamper Indian HRC exports
Indian hot and cold rolled coil sales activity continues to remain quiet in the European market due to the ongoing Indian mill maintenance shutdowns in the April-June quarter, sources tell Kallanish.
A source says: “There is no activity as Indian availability [amid mill shutdowns] is not there.” Sources anticipate Indian offers to return to the export market by the end of this month.
