Raw steel production creeps up again in US
US raw steel production inched up on-week in the week ended 10 July, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.852 million short tons at 83.6% capability utilisation, up 0.5% from the previous week, when utilisation was 83%, and up 37.2% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was just 60.3%.
