Raw steel production slows in US on-week
Weekly raw steel production in the US for the week ended 23 March was 1.703 million short tons, with a capability utilisation rate of 76.7%, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute. Raw steel production decreased 0.6% week-on-week. In the week ended 16 March, raw production was 1.714m st and utilisation was 77.2%.
