Reduced Iraq demand slashes Turkish August pipe exports

Turkish welded pipe exports declined -6% on-year in August to 138,356 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was $847.2/tonne versus $719.1/t in August 2017. The most-exported product was welded tube under 406.4mm, HS code 730630, whose shipments in fact rose 5% to 44,001t.
