RINL lowers rebar price for May
India’s Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has lowered its monthly domestic representative list prices for rebar and channels for May, Kallanish notes. The steelmaker is still not publishing a pig iron price, and has not done so since January.
Prices for 5.5mm, 7mm and 8mm wire rod remain unchanged from the previous list at INR 40,400/tonne ($533/t), INR 40,000/t and INR 39,900/t respectively.
