Romania, UK demand lifts Turkish welded pipe exports
Turkish welded pipe exports surged 38% on-year in September to 205,151 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was $856.3/tonne versus $695.7/t in September 2017.
The most-exported product was rectangular hollow sections under HS code 730661 whose shipments in fact declined -15% to 68,874t. The UK imported 17,722t, up 78%. However, Iraq and Romania took in 10,203t and 8,542t respectivel…
