Russel Metals breaks Q1 earnings record
North American-based service centre chain Russel Metals' earnings reached record highs in the first quarter of the year, Kallanish learns from the company's latest performance results.
Russel Metals earned CAD 137.3 million ($107.8m) on sales of CAD 1.34 billion in the first quarter. The company's profits were up on-year from earnings totalling CAD 114.5m on sales of CAD 885.4m in the same period of last year.
