Russia ramps up stainless output in 2021
Russia’s production of stainless steel increased in 2021. Output amounted to 214,000 tonnes, up by 4.9% on-year, show national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
In December alone Russian steelmakers produced 17,800t of stainless steel, more by 0.6% on-month.
In November, Russian steelmakers had produced 19,000t of stainless steel, more by 24.2% (see Kallanish passim).
