Russian billet rises slightly on deals into Turkey
Three billet deals were reported done by one Russian supplier for a total of 20,000 tonnes to Turkish merchant bar producers at base prices of $528-529/tonne cfr Turkish Black Sea ports. Freight was at around $20-22/t, market participants inform Kallanish.
The said supplier typically sells with a premium for prompt shipment.
