Ural Steel acquisition hinders Russian pig iron availability

The sale of Metalloinvest’s Ural Steel works to fellow Russian producer Zagorsk Pipe Works (ZTZ) is bound to further reduce availability of merchant pig iron from Russia, market sources say.
