Russian Hyundai plant halts production due to Covid-19
Hyundai Motor's plant in St. Petersburg will suspend car production from 30 October to 7 November, the company tells Kallanish. These have been declared non-working days due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in Russia.
However, the production plan for 2021 remains unchanged and allows for the production of 230,000 units, it added. In January-September, the plant produced 178,300 cars, up by 20% on-year.
