Russian steelmakers oppose platform wagon freight rate hike
The Russian Steel Association has criticised plans by New Transportation Company (NPC, part of Globaltrans) to increase Russian Railways tariffs for platform wagons used for the transport of rolled steel. These are proposed to rise to the levels of open wagon rates, Kallanish notes.
