Former Nissan Russia plant returns to state ownership
The former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, renamed Avtozavod St. Petersburg, which was acquired by leading Russian carmaker Avtovaz in 2023, has returned to state ownership, Avtovaz vice president for sales and marketing Dmitry Kostromin confirmed last week at the Russian Automotive Market.
