Russia’s January car production increases on-year, down on-month
Carmakers in Russia decreased production sequentially in January compared with the previous month amid Western sanctions and shortages of components.
Production amounted to 42,100 vehicles, down 21.8% compared with December, but 90% more year-on-year, Kallanish notes from national statistical service Rosstat data.
