Russia’s November steel, pipe output continues to increase
Russia increased steel production in November, according to data from domestic analytical company Chermet.
The country’s steelmakers produced 6 million tonnes of crude steel and 5.3mt of rolled products, up 5.7% year-on-year and 12.7% y-o-y, respectively, Kallanish notes.
In January-November, steel production increased by 5.7% to 69.6mt and rolled metal by 5.8% to 60.3mt.
