Russia’s stainless exports fall, stainless scrap shipments increase
Russia’s exports of stainless steel decreased in January-September, says national special steel association USSA.
Shipments amounted to 8,702 tonnes, down by 11.7% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Stainless steel products were exported mostly to Ukraine, whose share in the total volume is 29.1%, followed by Bangladesh with 28.1% share, Uzbekistan with 10.1% share and Italy with 6.9% share.
