Saarstahl submits bid for Liberty Ascoval, Hayange takeover
Saarland steelmaker Saarstahl has submitted a bid to acquire Liberty Steel’s French facilities, Ascoval and Hayange, says Saarstahl/Dillinger chief executive Karl-Ulrich Köhler.
The bid aims to support an industrial project for the future of the two plants, but also for an enduring development of industrial activities in the Nord and Moselle regions, Köhler said during an online press conference on Wednesday attended by Kallanish.
