Sail anticipates April HRM commissioning, inaugurates plate line
Steel Authority of India (Sail)’s Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has inaugurated the additional heat treatment line at its special plate mill that will meet increased demand for defence-grade special steel. Sail chairman Anil Kumar Chaudhary said during the ceremony that RSP’s 3 million tonnes/year hot strip mill should be completed by next April.
