SAIL BSP supplies 7,300t steel for Sela Tunnel
Government-owned steelmaker Steel Authority of India (SAIL)’s Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has delivered over 7,300 tonnes of steel for the Sela Tunnel, a key infrastructure project, Kallanish notes.
SAIL BSP, located in Chhattisgarh, says it has supplied 6,545t of thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars, 512t TMT bar in coils, 88t wire rod, 46t angles and channels, 94t plate and 22t joists. All steel supplied was in the specified grades needed for the project&#…
