SAIL's Bhilai Steel trials new universal rail mill
Steel Authority of India (SAIL) subsidiary Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has installed a new 1.2 million tonnes/year capacity universal rail mill (URM) at its Chhattisgarh unit. The INR 1,200 crore ($150.60 million) URM project will produce different grades of rail including head hardened rail, Kallanish notes.
