SAIL awaits Russian coking coal shipment: reports
Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has booked 80,000 tonnes of washed coking coal from Russia and expects to receive the parcel in the coming weeks, Kallanish learns from media reports.
Kallanish could not reach SAIL for confirmation before Friday deadline.
The contract is reported to stipulate that SAIL will pay only after the shipment lands in India. It is not yet clear whether the payment would be settled in Indian rupees or some other currency.
