Salzgitter bags large Qatar pipe order
Salzgitter has won a major supply contract for approximately 160,000 tonnes of longitudinally welded pipe and pipe bends for a major pipeline project in Qatar, Kallanish learns from the German steelmaker.
The order was placed with trading subsidiary Salzgitter Mannesmann International, which is responsible for all project coordination and execution steps, in addition to being responsible for monitoring the overall supply chain.
