Samarco dam disaster trial date set for October
The UK High Court of Justice has rejected arguments by Brazil’s Samarco co-owners Vale and BHP to postpone the start of the class action lawsuit in England over the Fundão dam burst. The trial is scheduled to begin on 7 October, Kallanish notes. This is the largest class action ever before a civil court in England.
