Hadeed rolls over rebar, following other mill
Saudi Arabia’s largest producer, Hadeed, announced on Tuesday it is rolling over its 12-32mm diameter domestic rebar net price at SAR 2,750/tonne ($733) and 9mm+ wire rod net price at SAR 2,950/t ($786). These quotes are delivered within the country for January deliveries, Kallanish notes.
Saudi mills are trying to remain in line with the main neighbouring country’s rebar prices in order not to lose market share to suppliers there.
