Saudi benchmark mill maintains scrap buying prices
Saudi Arabia's fully integrated benchmark mill, based in Jubail on the eastern coast, has maintained its March scrap purchase prices for April transactions, notes Kallanish.
Delivered scrap prices, excluding 15% VAT, are at SAR 1,120/tonne ($299) for light, SAR 1,600/t ($427) for HMS 80:20, SAR 1,645/t ($439) for shredded, and SAR 1,675/t ($447) for PNS, payable a week after delivery.
