Severstal launches new LDP for Russian gas industry
Severstal has successfully completed full-scale pneumatic testing of a new generation of large diameter pipe (LDP) of K65 strength class with high deformation capacity, the company says.
This confirms their readiness for use in the construction of gas trunklines. Feedstock is sourced from Mill 5000 at Severstal’s Izhora Pipe Plant, Kallanish notes.
