Severstal carries out multiple overhauls

Russian steelmaker Severstal is carrying out a range of overhauls in steel production at its flagship Cherepovets Steelworks (CherMK).
This includes the overhaul of blast furnaces No.3, 4 and 5, scheduled maintenance of electric arc furnace No.1 and the restoration of the main and auxiliary equipment of converter No.3, Kallanish notes.
