Severstal increases shipments of newly-developed products, targets automakers
Russian steelmaker and miner Severstal has doubled the share of newly-developed steel products in its sales portfolio on-year to 8.7%. It delivered about 740,000 tonnes of these products to customers in January-October, up by 20% on-year, Kallanish notes.
