Shaanxi Hangang hot trials EAF
Shaanxi province’s Hanzhong Iron & Steel plans to hot trial its electric arc furnaces system on 12 May, a little later than the planned commissioning date at the end of April, Kallanish notes.
The company is starting up 110KV and 35KV power supplies to the EAF system. It began the installation of facilities in October 2019 and commissioned the ladle furnaces, caster and continuous feeding system in January 2020.
