Shagang, Angang lower HRC offers on frustrated expectations
China’s Shagang and Anyang Iron & Steel (Angang) have announced lower hot rolled coil offers in November, reflecting weak confidence in demand for the month, Kallanish notes.
Shagang lowered its Q235 HRC quotations by CNY 300/tonne ($46.9/t), ending last month’s steady trend. Meanwhile, Angang’s HRC offers have been cut by CNY 90/t, not including tax.
