Shanxi Gaoyi signs bar mill project with SMS
China's Shanxi Gaoyi Iron & Steel (Gaoyi Steel) has signed a contract for equipment supply and technical service in its twin high-speed bar rolling plant, Kallanish notes from SMS official news.
The project is due to commission in 2021. Gaoyi Steel plans 2 million tonnes/year of finished steel capacity, with rebar and round bar products in 12-32mm in diametres. The maximum rolling speed of this production line can reach 45m/s. Steel grades produc…
