Shanxi Liheng launches steel upgrade projects
Shanxi Liheng Iron & Steel Group recently launched steel equipment upgrade projects, with a value exceeding CNY 7 billion ($1.115 billion). These were mainly implemented at its Jinnan Iron & Steel joint venture, according to a company announcement.
Liheng is a private steelmaker with around 5 milion tonnes/year of steel capacity. It established Jinnan Iron & Steel with Shanxi Xingyuan Group in November 2017, Kallanish notes.
