Shanxi's Linfen city restricts steelmaking output
Linfen city in Shanxi province has begun a new round of production limitations due to environmental protection requirements, Kallanish notes. According to market sources, the local restrictions were fully implemented as from 3 September.
Xingyuan Steel, Hengli Steel, New Jinshan Steel and Zhongsheng Steel all halted production at their blast furnaces until 20 September, and will restrict production by -50% from 21 September. Houma district…
