Shinkansai orders Danieli EAF tech
Japan’s Shinkansai Steel has reached an agreement with Italian Danieli for the latter’s Q-ONE technology to reduce energy use and operating expense, Kallanish notes from Danieli’s announcement.
The technology will be implemented on the 74-tonne tapping capacity electric arc furnace in operation at Shinkansai’s Sakai plant.
