Shougang’s key product output rises in August
China-listed Shougang unveiled a rebound in its monthly key product output from July, though electrical steel saw a slight year-on-year decline because of maintenance, Kallanish learns from its exchange filing.
Monthly automotive flats production was 270,000 tonnes, remaining stable on-month and down just 0.02% from a year earlier. This took year-to-date production to 2.34 million t with a fall of 1.7% y-o-y.
