Shougang’s key product output rises further in September
China-listed Shougang saw further growth in key product output in September, except for electrical steel, on both a month-on-month and year-on-year basis, Kallanish learns from the company’s exchange filing.
Shougang produced 330,000 tonnes of automotive flats in the reporting month, up 22.2% from August and 17.7% y-o-y. Year-to-date output went to 2.68 million t, achieving the first positive y-o-y growth this year at just 0.4%.
