Siyuanhe signals intention to acquire Chonggang Group
After the listed arm of Chongqing Iron & Steel announced the establishment of a raw materials joint venture company with Baowu subsidiaries, Siyuanhe Fund says it plans to acquire Chongqing Steel Group (Chonggang Group). Chonggang Group and Chongqing Iron & Steel had an indirect relationship since Siyuanhe rescued the listed arm from bankruptcy, replacing Chonggang Group as the main shareholder, Kallanish notes.
